Understand customer satisfaction with surveys

How satisfied are your customers truly with your products?
In pre- and post-purchase surveys, you can find out what motivates your customers, whether they would buy from you again, or if they would recommend you to others.
Use the following question types for this:
  • NPS
  • Matrix
  • Free text
  • Rating Scale
The questions you ask and how often you contact your customers depend entirely on your industry.
For example, a university can send stand-alone surveys to student emails at the end of the semester, while an online shop for beauty products can request a review one month after purchase.
If you are asking about product satisfaction, it is advisable not to send the survey too quickly. After three days, no one can tell you whether the dietary supplement is working, if the internet connection remains stable, or if the laptop will stand the test of time.
