PollHero is developed and hosted in Germany. This makes the software and artificial intelligence 100% GDPR-compliant. Additionally, PollHero offers you another level of data protection through two-factor authentication.
Within the surveys, you can manage in the settings whether personal data is shown in the reporting. Per project, it is possible to enable or disable PII (personally identifiable information) masking. Email addresses and numbers with 4 or more digits are censored in the responses.

They use Amazon’s AWS servers, which are located in Luxembourg. While Luxembourg is an EU country, Amazon AWS is an American company.
zenloop also uses Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud as data centers.
US-based companies, even when located in Europe, are subject to the CLOUD Act, which allows US authorities to collect data from all users.
Additionally, zenloop transfers data to the UK, which is no longer an EU country and therefore does not have to comply with EU GDPR.
zenSurvey limits the number of responses per month, but offers unlimited surveys and questions per survey.
