Hotjar Reporting & Analytics

Hotjar also collects data from the first touchpoint, so incomplete surveys are also included in the reporting. Hotjar reports also offer AI features:

To see sentiments, the sentiment switch must be enabled in the reporting. Sentiments are only available from 20 free-text responses per survey. Automatic and manual tags can be added to responses, which can be filtered in the reporting.
AI Analysis & Suggestions are not question-based, but summarize the entire report.

Privacy Policy

PollHero is developed and hosted in Germany. This makes the software and artificial intelligence 100% GDPR-compliant. Additionally, PollHero offers you another level of data protection thanks to two-factor authentication.
Within the surveys, you can manage in the settings whether personal data is shown in the reports. Per project, it is possible to enable or disable PII (personally identifiable information) masking. Email addresses and numbers with 4 or more digits are censored in the responses.

Hotjar belongs to Contentsquare, which is a French company based in France. However, Hotjar Surveys are not fully GDPR-compliant, as the subprocessors for data storage are located in the USA. This means they fall under the CLOUD Act, which allows U.S. authorities to access data stored by U.S. digital companies and IT service providers on the internet, even if that data was not stored in the USA.
Two-factor authentication is also available.

Hotjar Surveys is part of the Hotjar Contentsquare ecosystem. Hotjar Surveys are therefore included in every Voice of Customer plan—along with many other features such as session replays or heatmaps. We focus on the survey features included in each price.

It should be noted that prices for the Growth Plan vary and are calculated based on the number of desired responses per month. One response does not mean one survey. If you create a survey with 5 questions and a user completes this survey, you have already collected 5 responses. PollHero pricing, on the other hand, is not tied to a response volume.
