Logic Example: Free Text Logic

Short Free Text and Long Free Text questions also feature logic. Follow-ups are created based on the mention of specific words.

Our example: I want to find out how we can improve PollHero and am asking a free-text question so that website users can provide as much or as little feedback as they wish.

Free-text question PollHero

In particular, I want to find out how intuitive my visitors find the site navigation. For this, I assume that some visitors will mention the word “navigation,” while others will not.

If the word is not written, I want to ask whether the respective website users find the navigation easy to understand. To do this, I enter my keyword—in this case, “navigation”—into the “If – answer does not contain” field:

If desired, the logic could become even more detailed here by following up with a Single Select question and then asking another follow-up question after that.
